Minimally invasive surgery

The goal of minimally invasive surgery is to reduce the trauma caused by surgical interventions.

Based on modern imaging techniques and on 3D printed surgical stents, digital planning allows the surgeon to perform accurate implant installation with minimal incisions that allow for a more forgiving healing process.

These techniques also focus on the preservation of the natural healthy tissue and  usually rely on image magnification such as loupes or microscopes.

Minimally invasive implant denstistry is manly indicated in cases that have a sufficient quantity of bone and that don't demand bone regenerative procedures.

They are also indicated in cases that have a complex osseous anatomy and in esthetically demanding cases.
